3.1. Doorbell Installation Video Guide

3.2. Installation on a Smooth Surface (Adhesive Mount)

  1. Prepare the Surface: Ensure the mounting surface is smooth, dry, and clean.
  2. Apply Mounting Plate: Peel off the red protective foil from the 3M VHB adhesive on the backplate. Attach the backplate firmly to the desired location for the doorbell.
  3. Mount the Doorbell: Ensure the doorbell is turned on. Align the doorbell with the top of the backplate and then snap it onto the bottom. Press it down until it clicks securely into place.

3.3. Installation on a Wooden Surface (Screw Mount)

  1. Positioning: Use the provided screw hole positioning card to mark the locations for drilling.
  2. Secure Mounting Bracket: Use the provided screws to secure the mounting bracket onto the wooden surface.
  3. Mount the Doorbell: Ensure the doorbell is turned on. Align the doorbell with the top of the mounting bracket and then snap it onto the bottom. Press it down until it clicks securely into place.

3.4. Installation on Brick, Concrete, or Stucco (Screw Mount with Anchors)

  1. Mark Drill Holes: Use the screw hole positioning card to mark the drilling locations on the wall.
  2. Drill Holes: Using a power drill with a 6mm drill bit, drill two holes at the marked positions.
  3. Insert Anchors: Insert the provided wall anchors into the drilled holes. Use a hammer if necessary to tap them flush with the wall.
  4. Secure Mounting Bracket: Use the provided screws to secure the mounting bracket onto the wall, screwing into the anchors.
  5. Mount the Doorbell: Ensure the doorbell is turned on. Align the doorbell with the top of the mounting bracket and then snap it onto the bottom. Press it down until it clicks securely into place.

3.5. Post-Installation Steps

  1. Activate Anti-Theft Siren: After successful installation, open the 360 app and switch on the anti-theft siren feature for enhanced security.
  2. Disassembly (if needed): To remove the doorbell, first switch off the anti-theft siren in the app. Then, use the doorbell disassembly pin to release the doorbell from its mounting bracket.

4. Charging the Doorbell

The 360 X3 Video Doorbell offers flexible charging options:

4.1. Using a Power Adapter

  1. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the doorbell.
  2. Plug the other end of the cable into a compatible power adapter (not included) and then into a wall outlet.
  3. Charging typically takes about 6 to 7 hours for a full charge.

4.2. Using a Battery Pack (Optional)

An optional battery pack (sold separately) can be used to extend battery life.

  1. Attach the battery pack to the bottom of the doorbell.
  2. When the battery pack runs out, recharge it using a Type-C cable.

The built-in 5000mAh rechargeable battery provides up to 180 days of usage on a single charge. With an extended battery pack, the battery life can be boosted to up to 18 months.
