3. Setup & Installation

3.2. Installation on a Smooth Surface (Adhesive Mount)
- Prepare the Surface: Ensure the mounting surface is smooth, dry, and clean.
- Apply Mounting Plate: Peel off the red protective foil from the 3M VHB adhesive on the backplate. Attach the backplate firmly to the desired location for the doorbell.
- Mount the Doorbell: Ensure the doorbell is turned on. Align the doorbell with the top of the backplate and then snap it onto the bottom. Press it down until it clicks securely into place.
3.3. Installation on a Wooden Surface (Screw Mount)
- Positioning: Use the provided screw hole positioning card to mark the locations for drilling.
- Secure Mounting Bracket: Use the provided screws to secure the mounting bracket onto the wooden surface.
- Mount the Doorbell: Ensure the doorbell is turned on. Align the doorbell with the top of the mounting bracket and then snap it onto the bottom. Press it down until it clicks securely into place.
3.4. Installation on Brick, Concrete, or Stucco (Screw Mount with Anchors)
- Mark Drill Holes: Use the screw hole positioning card to mark the drilling locations on the wall.
- Drill Holes: Using a power drill with a 6mm drill bit, drill two holes at the marked positions.
- Insert Anchors: Insert the provided wall anchors into the drilled holes. Use a hammer if necessary to tap them flush with the wall.
- Secure Mounting Bracket: Use the provided screws to secure the mounting bracket onto the wall, screwing into the anchors.
- Mount the Doorbell: Ensure the doorbell is turned on. Align the doorbell with the top of the mounting bracket and then snap it onto the bottom. Press it down until it clicks securely into place.
3.5. Post-Installation Steps
- Activate Anti-Theft Siren: After successful installation, open the 360 app and switch on the anti-theft siren feature for enhanced security.
- Disassembly (if needed): To remove the doorbell, first switch off the anti-theft siren in the app. Then, use the doorbell disassembly pin to release the doorbell from its mounting bracket.
