Figure 2: Overview of WORKPRO Jigsaw features. This image highlights the 850W power, 800-3000 RPM no-load speed, maximum cutting depth of 100mm in wood and 10mm in steel, and the integrated LED light for enhanced visibility.
Setup
1. Blade Installation
The jigsaw features a tool-free blade change system.
- Ensure the tool is unplugged from the power source.
- Turn the clamping lever clockwise to open the blade clamp.
- Insert the T-shank saw blade fully into the clamp.
- Release the lever to secure the blade. Gently pull on the blade to ensure it is firmly seated.

Figure 3: Tool-free blade change mechanism. This image illustrates the process of inserting a T-shank saw blade by turning the clamping lever clockwise and then releasing it to secure the blade. Different types of T-shank blades for metal and wood are also displayed.
2. Attaching the Dust Extraction Pipe
Attach the dust extraction pipe to the designated port at the rear of the jigsaw. Connect a vacuum cleaner hose to the pipe for efficient dust collection.
3. Using the Guide Ruler
Insert the guide ruler into the slot on the base plate. Adjust it to the desired cutting distance and tighten the screw to secure it. This helps achieve precise straight cuts.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off and Lock-on Button
- To start the jigsaw, press the On/Off switch.
- For continuous operation, press the lock-on button while the On/Off switch is depressed. Release the On/Off switch, and the tool will continue to run.
- To turn off the tool from continuous operation, press the On/Off switch again.
2. Variable Speed Control
The jigsaw features 6 speed settings, allowing you to match the cutting speed to the material and blade type.
- Position 1-4: Plastic
- Position 2-3: Aluminum
- Position 3-4: Stainless steel
- Position 3-6: Steel plate
- Position 5-6: Wood

Figure 4: 6 Speeds Control for different materials. This image displays the jigsaw and a guide for selecting the appropriate speed setting (1-6) based on the material being cut, including plastic, aluminum, stainless steel, steel plate, and wood.
3. Orbital Settings
The 4 orbital settings adjust the blade's cutting action. Higher orbital settings provide faster, more aggressive cuts, suitable for softer materials. Lower settings are for finer, slower cuts in harder materials.
- Position 0: Straight cut and precise
- Position 1: Light orbital cut
- Position 2: Medium orbital cut
- Position 3: Aggressive orbital cut

Figure 5: 4 Orbital Settings. This image shows the orbital setting dial on the jigsaw and describes the function of each position: 0 for straight and precise cuts, 1 for light orbital cuts, 2 for medium orbital cuts, and 3 for aggressive orbital cuts.
4. Bevel Cutting (±45°)
The base plate can be tilted up to 45 degrees left or right for bevel cuts.
- Unplug the tool.
- Loosen the screws on the base plate using the included hex key.
- Tilt the base plate to the desired angle (up to 45°).
- Tighten the screws firmly to secure the base plate in position.

Figure 6: ±45° Bevel Cutting adjustment. This image illustrates the process of adjusting the base plate for angled cuts by loosening screws, tilting the plate to the desired angle (up to 45 degrees), and then tightening the screws with the hex key.
5. Dust Suction and Blowing Regulation
The jigsaw offers both dust blowing and suction functions to keep the cutting line clear.
- To activate dust suction (for connection to a vacuum cleaner), push the blower switch backward.
- To activate dust blowing (to clear debris from the cutting line), push the blower switch forward.

Figure 7: Dust suction and dust blowing regulation. This image demonstrates how to control the dust management feature: pushing the switch backward activates dust suction (scrap absorbed into catheter), and pushing it forward activates dust blowing (scrap blown away).
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your tool.
- Cleaning: Keep the ventilation openings clear and clean. Use a soft brush or compressed air to remove dust and debris. Do not use water or chemical cleaners.
- Blade Care: Replace dull or damaged blades promptly. Store blades properly to prevent damage.
- Cord Inspection: Regularly inspect the power cord for any signs of damage. If damaged, have it replaced by a qualified technician.
- Lubrication: This tool is designed for maintenance-free operation. No additional lubrication is required.
- Storage: Store the jigsaw in a dry, secure place out of reach of children.
