7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your Bobtot Home Theater System, please refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:

  • No Sound:
    • Check if the system is powered on and the volume is turned up.
    • Verify that the correct input mode is selected (e.g., HDMI ARC, Optical, Bluetooth).
    • Ensure all speaker cables are securely connected to the subwoofer.
    • Check the audio output settings on your source device (TV, DVD player, etc.) to ensure it's sending audio to the correct output. For digital inputs (ARC/Optical/Coaxial), ensure your TV's digital audio output format is set to PCM.
  • Distorted Sound:
    • Lower the volume on both the system and the source device.
    • Check for loose cable connections.
    • Ensure speakers are not placed too close to walls or corners, which can cause bass resonance.
  • Bluetooth Connection Issues:
    • Ensure the system is in Bluetooth input mode.
    • Make sure your Bluetooth device is within range (approx. 10 meters).
    • Try unpairing and re-pairing the device.
  • Remote Control Not Working:
    • Check and replace the batteries in the remote control.
    • Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the subwoofer's IR receiver.
