Setup

1. Charging the Headphones and Case

Before first use, fully charge the headphones and the charging case.

1. Place both earbuds into the charging case.
2. Connect the USB Type-C charging cable to the charging port on the case and to a power source.
3. The LED indicators on the case will show charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 2 hours.

2. Pairing with a Bluetooth Device

The JBL Tune 130NC TWS headphones are ready to pair when removed from the case.

1. Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode.
2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, computer), go to the Bluetooth settings.
3. Select "JBL Tune 130NC TWS" from the list of available devices.
4. Once connected, you will hear an audible confirmation, and the earbuds' indicator lights will change.

Note: The headphones support Bluetooth 5.2 for stable and efficient wireless connectivity within a range of up to 10 meters.

Operating the Headphones

Touch Controls

The JBL Tune 130NC TWS headphones feature intuitive touch controls on each earbud.

Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) and Smart Ambient

The headphones feature Active Noise Cancelling to minimize external distractions and Smart Ambient modes (Ambient Aware and TalkThru) to keep you connected to your surroundings.

• Active Noise Cancelling: Reduces ambient noise, ideal for focused listening.
• Ambient Aware: Allows you to hear your surroundings without removing the earbuds, enhancing safety.
• TalkThru: Lowers music volume and amplifies speech, enabling quick conversations.

Toggle between these modes by pressing and holding the touch control on the left earbud.

Making and Receiving Calls

The JBL Tune 130NC TWS are equipped with four microphones to ensure clear, hands-free stereo calls.

• To answer or end a call, single tap either earbud.
• To reject an incoming call, press and hold either earbud for 2 seconds.

Maintenance

Cleaning

• Regularly clean the earbuds and charging case with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
• Remove eartips and clean them with mild soap and water if necessary, ensuring they are completely dry before reattaching.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

Storage

When not in use, store the headphones in their charging case to protect them and ensure they remain charged. Store in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures.

Water Resistance

The JBL Tune 130NC TWS headphones are IPX4 water resistant and sweatproof, making them suitable for workouts and light rain. They are not designed for submersion in water. Ensure the earbuds are dry before placing them back into the charging case to prevent damage.
