- SET/MEM Button: For entering settings and viewing max/min records.

4.3 Wireless Outdoor Sensor

5. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your BALDR Wireless Weather Station:
5.1 Initial Setup of Main Unit
- Remove Screen Mask: Gently peel off the protective film from the main unit's display.
- Power On: Plug the power adapter into the DC port on the main unit and then into a power outlet. Alternatively, insert 3 x AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment.
- Set Outdoor Channel: Press the "▲/CH" button on the main unit to select the desired outdoor sensor channel (CH1, CH2, or CH3).

5.2 Outdoor Sensor Setup
- Select Channel: Open the battery compartment of the outdoor sensor and set the channel switch (1, 2, or 3) to match the channel selected on the main unit.
- Insert Batteries: Insert 2 x AAA batteries (not included) into the outdoor sensor's battery compartment, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment.
- Pairing: The sensor will automatically attempt to pair with the main unit. Allow a few minutes for the data to appear on the main unit's display.
Important: Load the sensor batteries within 3 minutes after powering the main unit to ensure successful pairing.
5.3 Placement Guidelines
For accurate readings and optimal wireless communication:
- Main Unit: Place the main unit horizontally on a stable surface or mount it on a wall. Ensure it is at a height of 1.2-2.4 meters (4-8 feet) above the ground.
- Outdoor Sensor:
- Place the sensor in a location protected from direct sunlight and rainfall.
- Ensure there is permanent shade and plenty of fresh air circulating around the sensor.
- Avoid placing the sensor near large metal objects or electronics that may interfere with wireless signals.
- Wireless Communication: Keep both units at least 0.9 meters (3 feet) away from electronics like TVs, microwaves, computers, etc., to prevent interference.

Allow at least 1 hour for the device to retrieve the most accurate data after initial placement.
6. Operation
6.1 Manual Settings (Time, Date, Units)
To enter manual setting mode, press and hold the "SET/MEM" button. Use the "▲/CH" or "▼/AUTO DIM" buttons to adjust values, and "SET/MEM" to confirm and move to the next setting.
- Time Display Mode: Select 12hr or 24hr format.
- Hours: Set the current hour.
- Minutes: Set the current minute.
- Year: Set the current year.
- Month & Date Display: Select the preferred format (e.g., MM/DD or DD/MM).
- Month: Set the current month.
- Date: Set the current day.
- Weekday Language: Select the language for the weekday display (e.g., English, Italian).
- Temperature Unit Display: Choose between Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F).
- Beep: Turn the button press sound ON or OFF.
6.2 Weather Forecast
The weather station provides a forecast for the next 12-24 hours based on internal and external temperature data and barometric pressure. Icons include Sunny, Partly Cloudy, Cloudy, Rainy, and Snowy conditions for both daytime and nighttime.

6.3 Comfort Level Indicator
The display shows an emoji to indicate the indoor comfort level based on humidity. A smiling emoji indicates optimal humidity (45%-65%), a crying emoji indicates dry conditions, and a blank emoji indicates humid conditions.
6.4 Temperature Alert Function
You can set high and low temperature alerts for the outdoor sensor. Press the "ALERTS" button to check the HI/LO outdoor temperature. In alert checking mode, press "▲/CH" or "▼/AUTO DIM" to turn the alert ON/OFF. Press and hold "ALERTS" to enter alert temperature value settings.
6.5 Frosting Point Warning
When the outdoor temperature is between 0°C and 2.9°C, a snowflake icon will flash to indicate a potential frosting point, alerting you to freezing conditions.
6.6 Alarm and Snooze Function
To set the alarm, press and hold the "ALARM" button. Use "▲/CH" or "▼/AUTO DIM" to adjust the alarm time. Press "ALARM" again to confirm. When the alarm sounds, touch the top of the unit to activate the 5-minute snooze function.

6.7 Brightness Adjustment
The display has 3 adjustable brightness levels (High, Medium, Low) and an OFF option. You can also activate an auto-dim feature. Use the "▼/AUTO DIM" button to cycle through brightness settings.

7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries in both the main unit and sensor when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Ensure to use standard alkaline batteries; do not use heavy-duty or rechargeable batteries.
- Storage: If storing the device for an extended period, remove all batteries to prevent leakage.
