Figure 5: Three Types of Scan Modes

4.1 Wireless Mode

In Wireless Mode, scanned barcode data is synchronously uploaded directly to your connected device in real-time. This mode is ideal for immediate data entry into applications such as spreadsheets or word processors. The scanner's screen will display the current wireless channel, signal strength, and battery level.

4.2 Collect Mode

Collect Mode allows you to store scanned barcodes internally within the scanner's memory. You can view the barcode content, type, and length on the screen. Data can be exported to your device at a later time. This mode includes a unique barcode feature: press the F2 key to toggle between allowing repeated scans or only unique barcodes. This is particularly useful for tracking serial numbers or inventory items that should only be scanned once.

4.3 Inventory Mode

Inventory Mode is designed for warehouse management and stock-taking tasks. It stores scanned barcodes along with quantity information. Users can check the number, length, and quantity of items on the screen before exporting the data to their device.

5.2 Cleaning

Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to clean the scanner's screen and body. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the device.

5.3 Durability and Storage

The scanner is designed to withstand drops up to 1.5 meters (5 feet). However, to prolong its lifespan, avoid unnecessary impacts. Store the scanner in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity.
