Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Keyboard not responding (wired) | Loose cable connection, incorrect mode switch setting, driver issue. | Ensure USB-C cable is securely connected. Check if the mode switch is set to "Cable" or "Wired". Try a different USB port or cable. Restart your computer. |
| Keyboard not connecting (Bluetooth) | Not in pairing mode, already paired to max devices, interference, low battery. | Ensure keyboard is in Bluetooth mode and pairing mode (Fn + 1/2/3 for 4s). Forget the device on your computer and re-pair. Charge the keyboard. Reduce interference from other wireless devices. |
| Keys not registering or double-typing | Faulty switch, debris under keycap/switch. | Remove keycap and switch, clean the socket with compressed air. If issue persists, replace the switch. |
| RGB backlight not working | Backlight turned off, low battery, software glitch. | Press Fn + Light key to cycle through modes. Charge the keyboard. Reset keyboard to factory settings (refer to Keychron support for specific instructions). |
| VIA software not detecting keyboard | Keyboard not in wired mode, incorrect firmware, VIA version mismatch. | Ensure keyboard is connected via USB-C and in wired mode. Download the correct JSON definition file for K2 Pro from Keychron's website and load it into VIA. Update VIA software. |
