5. Assembly and Setup
5.1 Handheld Mode Assembly

5.2 Stick Mode Assembly
- Attach the extension tube to the main vacuum unit by aligning the connectors and pushing until it clicks into place.
- Attach the floor brush to the other end of the extension tube, ensuring it is securely fastened.
- Ensure the dust cup and filter are properly installed in the main unit.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Powering On/Off
Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet (220V). Press the power button located on the main unit to turn the vacuum cleaner on. Press it again to turn it off.
6.2 Using in Handheld Mode
This mode is ideal for cleaning small spills, car interiors, upholstery, and hard-to-reach areas. Attach the crevice tool for tight spaces or the brush nozzle for delicate surfaces.

6.3 Using in Stick Mode
For larger floor areas, assemble the vacuum in stick mode with the extension tube and floor brush. This configuration is suitable for both hard floors and low-pile carpets.

7. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your vacuum cleaner.
7.1 Emptying the Dust Cup
- Ensure the vacuum cleaner is unplugged from the power outlet.
- Detach the dust cup from the main unit.
- Open the dust cup and empty its contents into a waste bin.
7.2 Cleaning the Filter
The Deerma DX115C features a washable and reusable filter. Clean the filter regularly to maintain suction power.
- With the dust cup detached, carefully remove the filter.
- Rinse the filter under running water until clean. Do not use detergent.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting it into the dust cup. Do not use the vacuum with a wet filter.
- Reassemble the filter and dust cup onto the main unit.
