The Keychron K6 Pro is a custom wireless mechanical keyboard designed for an enhanced typing experience. It features QMK/VIA compatibility for extensive customization, hot-swappable switches, and a robust aluminum frame. This manual provides instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your K6 Pro keyboard.
1. Setup
1.1 Unboxing and Package Contents
Carefully unpack your Keychron K6 Pro keyboard. Verify that all components are present:

1.2 Connectivity Modes
The K6 Pro supports both wireless (Bluetooth 5.1) and wired (USB-C) connections.
Bluetooth Connection:
- Ensure the keyboard's mode switch (located on the side) is set to Bluetooth.
- On your device (laptop, phone, tablet), enable Bluetooth and search for "Keychron K6 Pro".
- Select the keyboard to pair. The K6 Pro can connect to up to 3 devices wirelessly. Switch between paired devices using the appropriate key combinations (refer to the Operating section).

Wired Connection:
Connect the keyboard to your computer using the provided USB-C cable. The keyboard will automatically switch to wired mode.
1.3 Operating System Compatibility
The K6 Pro is compatible with macOS, Windows, and Linux operating systems. Use the OS switch located on the side of the keyboard to select the correct operating system mode for optimal functionality.

2.1 Key Remapping with QMK/VIA Launcher
The K6 Pro supports QMK/VIA firmware, allowing for comprehensive key remapping and macro creation. Use the VIA web application (Launcher) to customize your keyboard layout.
- Connect the K6 Pro to your device via USB-C cable.

The K6 Pro features hot-swappable sockets, allowing you to change mechanical switches without soldering. It is compatible with most 3-pin and 5-pin MX mechanical switches.
- Use the provided switch puller to carefully remove a keycap, then the switch.
- Align the pins of the new switch with the sockets on the PCB.
- Gently press the new switch into place until it clicks.
- Replace the keycap.

3. Maintenance
3.1 Cleaning Your Keyboard
To maintain optimal performance and appearance, regularly clean your keyboard:
- Dust Removal: Use compressed air to remove dust and debris from between keycaps.
- Keycap Cleaning: Remove keycaps using the provided keycap puller. Clean them with a mild soap solution and a soft cloth, then dry thoroughly before reattaching.
- Surface Cleaning: Wipe the keyboard surface with a damp, lint-free cloth. Avoid excessive moisture.
3.2 Switch Replacement
