5. Installation Instructions
Before starting, ensure you have the necessary tools: drill, stud finder, level, screwdriver, and a pencil. It is recommended to have a second person assist with installation.
5.1. Determine Mounting Location
Locate a suitable ceiling joist or solid concrete area. Use a stud finder to confirm the location of wooden studs. For concrete ceilings, ensure the concrete is solid and thick enough for anchors.
5.2. Install Ceiling Plate
- Position the ceiling plate (part of the main assembly) against the ceiling at your desired location.
- Mark the drill holes through the plate onto the ceiling using a pencil.
- Drill pilot holes. For wood studs, use a smaller drill bit than the lag bolts. For concrete, use a masonry drill bit and insert concrete anchors.
- Secure the ceiling plate using the provided lag bolts and washers. Ensure it is firmly attached and level.

5.3. Attach VESA Brackets to TV/Monitor
- Lay your TV or monitor face down on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
- Identify the VESA mounting holes on the back of your display.
- Select the appropriate screws, washers, and spacers from the hardware kit that fit your TV's VESA pattern.
- Attach the two VESA TV brackets to the back of your display. Ensure they are securely fastened but do not overtighten.
5.4. Mount TV/Monitor to Arm Assembly
- With assistance, carefully lift the TV/monitor with the attached VESA brackets.
- Hook the VESA brackets onto the mounting arm of the ceiling assembly. Ensure both brackets are properly seated.
- Secure the TV/monitor to the arm assembly using the provided safety screws or locking mechanisms to prevent accidental dislodgement.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Folding Up and Down
The mount allows the display to fold up against the ceiling for storage or to save space, and fold down for viewing.
- To Fold Up: Gently push the bottom of the display upwards until it clicks into the locked position against the ceiling plate.
- To Fold Down: Pull the release mechanism (often a small lever or tab) to unlock the display, then carefully lower it to the desired viewing angle.

6.2. Swivel Adjustment
The mount features a ±45° swivel function to optimize viewing angles.
- Gently rotate the display left or right to achieve your preferred viewing position.

The vertical rail allows for approximately 4 inches of height adjustment.
- Loosen the adjustment screws on the vertical rail.
- Slide the display up or down to the desired height.
