Initial Setup
Before first use, ensure the internal battery is charged. Plug the timer into any standard 125V outlet for at least 30 minutes to charge the battery. This allows the timer to retain settings during power outages.
After charging, reset the timer by inserting a non-metallic insulated tool (like a pencil tip or toothpick) into the small 'Reset' hole located on the front panel. This clears all previous settings and prepares the timer for programming.
Setting Current Day and Time
- Press and hold the CLOCK button.
- While holding CLOCK, press the WEEK button repeatedly until the current day of the week is displayed (MO, TU, WE, TH, FR, SA, SU).
- While still holding CLOCK, press the HOUR button repeatedly to set the current hour (AM/PM will change automatically).
- While still holding CLOCK, press the MIN button repeatedly to set the current minute.
