5. Setup

5.1 Unpacking and Initial Preparation

5.2 Charging Dock Placement

Place the charging dock in an open area with good Wi-Fi signal, ensuring:

  • At least 1.5 meters (4.9 feet) of clear space in front.
  • It is against a wall and on a hard, level surface.
  • It is not near stairs or obstacles that could block the robot's return path.

5.3 Initial Charging

  1. Connect the power adapter to the charging dock and plug it into a wall outlet.
  2. Place the robot vacuum onto the charging dock, ensuring the charging contacts align. The robot will announce that it is charging.
  3. Allow the robot to fully charge before its first use (approximately 4 hours). The power indicator on the dock will change when fully charged.

5.4 App Download and Wi-Fi Connection

  1. Download the TCL Home app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

6. Operating the Sweeva 6000

6.1 Starting and Stopping Cleaning

  • Start Cleaning: Press the Power/Clean button on the robot or use the TCL Home app to start a cleaning cycle.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your Sweeva 6000. Always turn off the robot and unplug the charging dock before maintenance.

7.1 Emptying the Dustbin and Cleaning Filters

  1. Press the dustbin release button and pull out the dustbin.
  2. Open the dustbin cover and empty its contents into a trash bin.
  3. Remove the HEPA filter and foam filter. Tap them gently to remove dust. The HEPA filter can be rinsed under running water; ensure it is completely dry before reinstallation.
  4. Rinse the dustbin with water if necessary and allow it to air dry completely.
  5. Reassemble the filters and dustbin, then reinsert into the robot.

7.2 Cleaning the Main Brush

  1. Flip the robot over and locate the main brush cover.
  2. Press the tabs to release the cover and remove the main brush.
  3. Use the cleaning tool to remove hair and debris tangled around the brush and its bearings.
  4. Reinstall the main brush and secure the cover.

7.3 Cleaning the Side Brushes

  1. Gently pull the side brushes upwards to remove them.
  2. Remove any tangled hair or debris.
  3. Reattach the side brushes by pressing them firmly onto their posts.

7.4 Cleaning Sensors and Charging Contacts

Wipe all sensors (cliff sensors, bumper sensors, LiDAR sensor window) and the robot's charging contacts, as well as the charging dock's contacts, with a clean, dry cloth. Keep them free of dust and debris.

7.5 Cleaning Wheels

Inspect the driving wheels and universal wheel for tangled hair or debris. Clean them as needed to ensure smooth movement.
