Setup

Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert two CR2032 button cell batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Initial Placement

Place the scale on a flat, hard, and stable surface to ensure accurate readings. Avoid placing it on soft or uneven surfaces.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

  • To power on, gently press the Power/Tare button. The display will illuminate and show "0".
  • The scale features an automatic shut-off function after 4 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life.
  • To manually power off, press and hold the Power/Tare button for a few seconds until the display turns off.

Unit Conversion

  • With the scale powered on, press the UNIT button to cycle through available units: grams (g), ounces (oz), pounds (lbs), and milliliters (ml).
  • Select the desired unit before weighing your item.

Tare Function

  • Place an empty container on the scale. The display will show its weight.
  • Press the Power/Tare button. The display will reset to "0", effectively subtracting the container's weight.
  • You can now add ingredients to the container, and the scale will display only the weight of the added items.

Calorie & Carb Calculator

This scale features a unique function to estimate calories and carbohydrates for 14 pre-set food types. The food types are indicated by icons on the scale's surface.

  1. Place the food item on the scale.
  2. Press the KCAL/CHO button to activate the calorie/carb calculation mode.
  3. Use the left and right arrow buttons (< and >) to select the corresponding food type icon (e.g., Flour, Sugar, Butter, Egg, Chocolate, Chicken, Beef, Pasta, Rice, Pork, Bacon, Sausage, Milk, Cheese).
  4. The display will show the estimated calorie (KCAL) or carbohydrate (CHO) content for the selected food type based on its weight.
  5. To return to normal weighing mode, press the Power/Tare button.

Cleaning
