Setup
Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert two CR2032 button cell batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Initial Placement
Place the scale on a flat, hard, and stable surface to ensure accurate readings. Avoid placing it on soft or uneven surfaces.
Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
- To power on, gently press the Power/Tare button. The display will illuminate and show "0".
- The scale features an automatic shut-off function after 4 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life.
- To manually power off, press and hold the Power/Tare button for a few seconds until the display turns off.
Unit Conversion
- With the scale powered on, press the UNIT button to cycle through available units: grams (g), ounces (oz), pounds (lbs), and milliliters (ml).
- Select the desired unit before weighing your item.

Tare Function
- Place an empty container on the scale. The display will show its weight.
- Press the Power/Tare button. The display will reset to "0", effectively subtracting the container's weight.
- You can now add ingredients to the container, and the scale will display only the weight of the added items.

Calorie & Carb Calculator
This scale features a unique function to estimate calories and carbohydrates for 14 pre-set food types. The food types are indicated by icons on the scale's surface.
- Place the food item on the scale.
- Press the KCAL/CHO button to activate the calorie/carb calculation mode.
- Use the left and right arrow buttons (< and >) to select the corresponding food type icon (e.g., Flour, Sugar, Butter, Egg, Chocolate, Chicken, Beef, Pasta, Rice, Pork, Bacon, Sausage, Milk, Cheese).
- The display will show the estimated calorie (KCAL) or carbohydrate (CHO) content for the selected food type based on its weight.
- To return to normal weighing mode, press the Power/Tare button.

Cleaning
- Wipe the scale's tempered glass surface with a soft, damp cloth.
