1. Introduction

The Arturia KeyStep 37 is a compact 37-key MIDI controller and sequencer designed to control both hardware and software instruments. 2. Setup

2.1 Power Connection

Connect the provided power adapter to the 12V DC input on the rear panel of the KeyStep 37. Alternatively, the unit can be powered via USB.

3.1 Chord Mode

The enhanced Chord mode allows you to generate complex harmonic progressions from single notes. You can select from twelve different chord types. This mode also incorporates a strumming mechanic, enabling control over note spacing, timing between notes, and velocity sensitivity to create dynamic and organic compositions.

3.2 Scale Mode

The Scale mode quantizes played notes to the nearest note within a specified scale or key. This feature helps to minimize unintended accidentals and maintain musical coherence. You can choose from five predefined scales or define a custom scale.

3.3 Sequencing and Arpeggiator
