Setup Guide

1. Battery Installation

To install the battery:

  1. Remove the back cover of the phone by gently prying it open from the notch at the bottom.
  2. Align the gold contacts on the 1050mAh battery with the contacts in the phone's battery compartment.
  3. Gently press the battery into place until it is securely seated.
  4. Replace the back cover, ensuring it clicks firmly into position.

2. SIM Card Installation

The Easyfone Prime-A6 uses a Nano SIM card. Please ensure you have the correct size SIM card before installation.

  1. With the back cover and battery removed, locate the SIM card slot(s). The phone supports two card slots: one for SIM and one for a memory card.
  2. Carefully insert your Nano SIM card into the designated SIM card slot, ensuring the gold contacts face downwards and the notched corner aligns with the slot's orientation.
  3. Gently push the SIM card until it clicks into place.
  4. Reinstall the battery and back cover.

3. Initial Power On

To turn on your phone for the first time:

  1. Press and hold the Power ON/OFF button (usually the red hang-up button) for approximately 3 seconds.
  2. The Easyfone logo will appear on the screen, indicating the phone is starting up.

4. Setting Language, Date, and Time

After powering on, you may be prompted to set the language, date, and time. Follow the on-screen instructions using the navigation keys and 'OK' button to confirm your selections.

5. Charging the Phone

Your Easyfone Prime-A6 can be charged using the included charging dock or directly via the USB-C cable.

  • Using the Charging Dock: Place the phone securely into the charging dock. Ensure the charging contacts on the phone align with those on the dock. The charging indicator on the phone's screen will show that it is charging.
  • Direct USB-C Charging: Connect the USB-C cable to the phone's charging port and the other end to the charger. Plug the charger into a power outlet.

A full charge typically provides long standby time.

Operating Instructions

Making Calls

  1. Enter the phone number using the keypad.
  2. Press the green call button to initiate the call.
  3. To end a call, press the red hang-up button.

Sending Text Messages

Navigate to the 'Messages' menu. Select 'Write message' and use the keypad to compose your text. Select the recipient from your contacts or enter a new number, then send.

SOS Function

The SOS button provides a quick way to contact pre-set emergency numbers. In an emergency, press and hold the SOS button for a few seconds. The phone will automatically dial the emergency contacts in sequence until one answers.

Speed Dial

You can set up to eight speed dial numbers (keys 2-9). To set a speed dial:

  1. Go to 'Settings' > 'Speed Dial'.
  2. Select a number key (2-9) and assign a contact from your phonebook.

To use speed dial, simply press and hold the assigned number key.

Unlock Switch

The phone features a practical unlock switch on the side to prevent accidental touches. Slide the switch down to unlock the keypad and up to lock it.
