4. Setup

4.1 Physical Installation

1. Choose a Mounting Location: Select a location that provides the desired viewing angle and is within reach of power and video cables. The camera is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
2. Mount the Camera: Use the provided screw kits to securely attach the 3-axis mounting bracket to a wall or ceiling. Adjust the camera's angle as needed.
3. Connect Video Cable: Connect one end of the 60ft BNC cable to the camera's video output port and the other end to an available video input on your DVR.
4. Connect Power: Use the 1-to-4 splitter cable and the 12V 2A power adapter to provide power to the cameras. Ensure all connections are firm.

4.2 Signal Configuration

This camera supports four switchable video signals: TVI, AHD, CVI, and CVBS. The signal type can be switched via the mode switch on the camera cable to match your DVR's input. Refer to your DVR's manual for compatible signal types.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Night Vision Modes

The camera features Smart Dual Light technology, offering enhanced night surveillance:

• IR Night Vision: Provides clear black and white images in complete darkness using infrared LEDs (up to 25m).
• White Light Night Vision: Activates the built-in white light for full-color night imaging (up to 20m).
• Smart Mode (Default): The camera operates in IR night vision. When human or vehicle motion is detected, the white light activates, switching the image to full color for better identification. Once the motion event ends, it reverts to IR night vision. This mode requires a compatible DVR with AI functions.

5.2 Audio Recording

The integrated microphone captures audio, which is transmitted over the coaxial cable alongside the video signal. This allows for synchronized audio and video recording on your DVR. If audio recording is not desired, it can be turned off in the camera's OSD (On-Screen Display) menu, accessible through your DVR.

  • Verify the camera's signal type (TVI/AHD/CVI/CVBS) matches the DVR's input. Adjust using the mode switch if necessary.
• Poor Image Quality:
  • Clean the camera lens for any dirt or smudges.

  • Check cable integrity; damaged cables can degrade signal quality.
• No Audio:
