1. Introduction
The DIGITUS Mobile Charging Cabinet is designed for the secure storage and efficient charging of up to 30 laptops and tablets with screen sizes up to 15.6 inches. This robust and mobile solution is ideal for educational institutions, offices, and other environments requiring centralized device management. It features 30 USB-A charging ports, integrated power strips, active cooling, and lockable doors for enhanced security.

2. Safety Instructions
Please read these safety instructions carefully before operating the device. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.
- Ensure the cabinet is placed on a stable, level surface.
- Do not overload the electrical outlets.
- Keep ventilation slots clear to prevent overheating. The cabinet includes 3 fans for active cooling.
- Do not expose the cabinet to water or excessive humidity.
- Only use the provided power cable and accessories.
- This product is heavy (approx. 96 kg). Use appropriate lifting techniques or assistance when moving.
- The integrated RCD (Residual Current Device) 30 mA provides additional electrical safety. Do not bypass or tamper with it.
3. Package Contents

4. Setup
4.1 Unpacking and Positioning
Carefully remove the charging cabinet from its packaging. Due to its weight, it is recommended to have assistance. The cabinet is equipped with integrated castors for easy mobility. Position the cabinet in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
4.2 Attaching Handles
If the handles are not pre-attached, use the provided screws and Allen key to secure them to the designated mounting points on the sides of the cabinet.
4.3 Power Connection
Connect the provided power cable to the C20 socket on the rear of the cabinet and then to a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the ON/OFF switch on the rear panel is in the OFF position before connecting to power.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Placing Devices
Open the front doors using the key. Each of the 30 slots is designed to accommodate a laptop or tablet up to 15.6 inches. Carefully slide each device into a slot.

5.2 Connecting Devices for Charging
Connect the USB-A charging cable from your device to the corresponding USB-A port located within each slot. The cabinet provides 30 USB-A ports (5V, 2.1A each) for efficient charging.

5.3 Powering On and Charging
Once all devices are connected, switch the ON/OFF button on the rear panel to the 'ON' position. Status indicators (if present) will illuminate to show charging activity. The cabinet's active cooling system will engage to maintain optimal temperatures during charging.
5.4 Securing the Cabinet
After placing and connecting all devices, close and lock the front doors using the provided keys. The cabinet features a 2-point locking mechanism for enhanced security.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your charging cabinet.
- Cleaning: Disconnect the cabinet from power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Ventilation: Periodically check that the ventilation slots on the sides and rear of the cabinet are free from dust and obstructions.
- Cable Inspection: Regularly inspect all internal and external cables for any signs of wear, fraying, or damage. Replace damaged cables immediately.
- Lock Mechanism: Ensure the lock mechanism operates smoothly. Lubricate sparingly if necessary.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your DIGITUS Mobile Charging Cabinet, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- No Power:
- Check if the power cable is securely connected to both the cabinet and the wall outlet.
- Ensure the ON/OFF switch on the rear panel is in the 'ON' position.
- Verify that the wall outlet is functional by plugging in another device.
- Check your building's circuit breaker or fuse box.
- Devices Not Charging:
- Ensure the cabinet is powered on.
- Verify that the USB-A cables are properly connected to both the device and the cabinet's USB-A port.
- Test with a different charging cable or device to isolate the issue.
- Confirm that the device itself is capable of charging via USB-A and is not fully charged.
- Overheating:
- Ensure all ventilation slots are clear and unobstructed.
- Verify that the internal fans are operating.
- Do not block the air circulation around the cabinet.
- Doors Not Locking:
- Ensure the doors are fully closed and aligned.
- Check for any obstructions preventing the doors from closing completely.
- Inspect the lock mechanism for damage.
