4. Setup

4.1 Powering the Monitor

The FW1018V1 monitor can be powered via a DC 12V input or compatible battery plates.

1. DC Power: Connect a 12V DC power adapter (not included) to the DC 12V IN port on the rear panel.
2. Battery Power: Attach a compatible battery (e.g., F970, LP-E6, D28S, Anton, Sony V mount) to the installed battery plate. Ensure the battery is securely locked into place.

• HDMI: Connect your camera or video source to the HDMI IN port using an HDMI cable. The monitor also features an HDMI OUT port for loop-through.
• I: Connect I cables to the I IN port. I OUT is available for loop-through.
• YPbPr: Connect YPbPr component cables to the Y, Pb, Pr IN ports. Y, Pb, Pr OUT are available for loop-through.

Connect the included Tally Kit to the DB-9 TALLY port on the rear panel. The Tally Light on the front of the monitor will indicate camera status (e.g., red for recording, green for standby) when connected to a compatible Tally system.
