1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the AVINIA Digital Kitchen Timer. This versatile device is designed to assist with precise timing for various activities, including cooking, studying, fitness, and more. Featuring a large LED display, rotary adjustment, and magnetic backing, it offers ease of use for all ages.

2. Setup

2.1 Battery Installation

The AVINIA Digital Kitchen Timer requires 3 AAA batteries (not included). To install the batteries:

Locate the battery compartment on the back of the timer.
Open the battery cover by sliding it or gently prying it open.
Insert 3 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
Close the battery cover securely.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Power On/Off and Display Activation

To activate the display from sleep mode, simply touch the screen anywhere.
The timer will automatically enter energy-saving sleep mode if no operation is performed for a few seconds.

3.2 Setting the Time (Countdown)

The timer supports a timing range of 0-99 minutes and 55 seconds.

Rotate the outer ring clockwise to increase the time.
Rotate the outer ring counter-clockwise to decrease the time.
A quick rotation adjusts seconds in 5-second increments. A slower, continuous rotation adjusts minutes.
Once the desired time is set, press the central button (circle icon) to start the countdown.

3.3 Countup Function

To use the countup function:

Ensure the timer display shows "00:00". If not, press and hold the central button to reset it.
Press the central button once to start counting up.
Press the central button again to pause/resume the countup.

3.4 Pause and Reset

During countdown or countup, press the central button once to pause. Press again to resume.
To reset the timer to "00:00", press and hold the central button for 3 seconds.

3.5 Volume Adjustment

The timer offers three alarm volume levels: Loud, Soft, and Mute. Use the switch on the back of the timer to select your preferred volume.

Loud: For environments where a strong alert is needed (up to 90dB).
Soft: For quieter settings.
Mute: The LED display will flash without sound when the timer reaches zero.

3.6 Brightness Adjustment

The timer features three brightness levels for its LED display: Constant Brightness, Dim Mode, and Light Off. Use the switch on the back of the timer to adjust the display brightness according to your environment.

5. Maintenance

Clean the timer with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.
Avoid exposing the timer to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
If the timer will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.

6. Troubleshooting

Problem	Possible Cause	Solution
Display is dim or off	Low batteries or in sleep mode.	Replace batteries or touch the screen to wake up the display.
Timer not responding to rotation	Timer may be paused or in an unresponsive state.	Press the central button to ensure it's not paused. If unresponsive, remove and reinsert batteries to reset.
Alarm is not sounding	Volume set to Mute.	Adjust the volume switch on the back of the timer to Loud or Soft.
