This self-powered, weatherproof doorbell system offers convenience and reliability with its easy installation, multiple chime options, and long wireless range. This manual provides detailed instructions for setup, operation, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance of your device.

Setup and Installation

Before installation, ensure the receiver is plugged into a power outlet and the push button is within range. The doorbell set you received is pre-paired. If you purchase additional transmitters or receivers, they must be paired before use.

Mounting the Push Button:

The push button can be mounted using either the included adhesive patch or screws.

  1. Adhesive Patch Mounting:
    • Clean the mounting surface thoroughly to ensure it is dry and free of dust.
    • Peel off the protective film from one side of the adhesive patch and stick it firmly to the back of the push button.
    • Peel off the protective film from the other side of the adhesive patch.
    • Press the push button firmly onto the desired location on the wall or door frame for at least 30 seconds.
  2. Screw Mounting:
    • Open the back cover of the push button.
    • Mark the positions for drilling holes using the back cover as a template.
    • Drill two holes at the marked positions. Insert the provided anchors if installing into drywall or masonry.
    • Secure the back cover to the wall using the provided screws.
    • Snap the front part of the push button onto the secured back cover.

Important Note: Metal surfaces can block wireless signals. It is not recommended to install the push button directly on a metal door or frame.

Operating Instructions

Changing Chimes:

To change the chime, press the music button on the receiver. Each press will cycle through the 36 available melodies. Stop pressing when you hear your desired ringtone.

Adjusting Volume:

Press the volume button on the receiver to cycle through the 5 available volume levels (0-110dB). The lowest setting is mute.

Pairing Additional Transmitters or Receivers:

The doorbell set you received is pre-paired. For additional transmitters or receivers, follow these steps to pair them:

  1. Plug in the receiver.
  2. Press and hold the music button on the receiver for 3 seconds until the LED light flashes slowly. This indicates it has entered pairing/learning mode.
  3. Within 5 seconds, press the transmitter button once. The receiver will ring, indicating successful pairing.
  4. To exit pairing mode, press the music button again or wait 5 seconds for it to automatically exit.

One receiver can be paired with up to 10 transmit buttons. One transmit button can be paired with up to 60 receivers.

Assigning Different Ringtones to Different Buttons:

Yes, you can assign different ringtones to different bell pushers to distinguish between them (e.g., front door vs. back door). Follow these steps:

  1. Select the desired chime on the receiver by pressing the music button.
  2. Once the desired chime is playing, press and hold the music button on the receiver for 3 seconds until the LED light flashes slowly (pairing mode).
  3. Press the specific transmitter button you wish to assign this chime to. The receiver will ring with the selected chime, confirming the assignment.
  4. Repeat for other transmitters with different chimes if desired.

Maintenance

The Linbell Wireless Doorbell is designed for self-powered and lifetime maintenance-free operation for the push button. The receiver is plug-in and requires no battery maintenance.

Troubleshooting
