Operating Instructions
1. Powering On/Off:
- Press the ON/OFF button to turn the tachometer on.
- Press the ON/OFF button again to turn the tachometer off.
2. Selecting Measurement Mode:
Press the FUNC button to cycle through the available measurement modes:
- Photoelectric RPM: For non-contact measurements using reflective tape.
- Rotation Speed (Contact RPM): For contact measurements using the pointed or conical adapter.
- Line Speed (M/min): For contact measurements using the flat wheel adapter.
3. Taking Measurements:
For Photoelectric RPM (Non-Contact):
- Attach a piece of the provided reflective adhesive tape to the rotating object.
- Select "Photoelectric RPM" mode using the FUNC button.
- Point the tachometer's photoelectric sensor towards the reflective tape on the rotating object. Ensure the effective distance is approximately 50-500mm.
- Press and hold the TEST button. The RPM reading will appear on the LCD.
- Release the TEST button to hold the last reading.
For Rotation Speed (Contact RPM) and Line Speed (M/min):
- Attach the appropriate contact adapter (pointed/conical for RPM, flat wheel for M/min) to the spindle.
- Select "Rotation Speed" or "Line Speed" mode using the FUNC button.
- Gently press the contact adapter against the center of the rotating shaft (for RPM) or the surface of the moving line (for M/min).
- Press and hold the TEST button. The reading will appear on the LCD.
- Release the TEST button to hold the last reading.
4. Memory Function:
After taking a measurement, press the MEM button to cycle through stored values:
- MAX: Displays the maximum measured value.
- MIN: Displays the minimum measured value.
- LAST: Displays the last measured value.
