1. Introduction

3. Setup

3.1 Assembling the Phone

  1. Attach the Stand: Align the stand with the slots on the back of the phone and push until it clicks into place. This allows for desktop placement.
  2. Connect the Handset: Plug one end of the coiled handset cord into the handset port on the phone (usually marked with a handset icon) and the other end into the handset.

3.2 Connecting to Network and Power

The SIP-T58W supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) for simplified installation. If PoE is not available, a separate power adapter (not included) is required.

  1. Ethernet Connection: Connect one end of the provided Ethernet cable to the Internet port on the back of the phone (usually marked with a network icon) and the other end to a network switch or router.
  2. Power Connection (if not using PoE): If your network does not provide PoE, connect a compatible 5V DC power adapter (not included) to the power port on the back of the phone and then to a power outlet.

The phone will power on automatically once connected to power and network. Follow the on-screen prompts for initial configuration, which may include network settings, date/time, and SIP account registration.
