3. Setup Guide

3.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the keyboard. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the keyboard's Type-C Charge Port (I) and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter). The indicator light will show charging status and turn off when fully charged. A full charge takes approximately 4 hours.

3.2 Wireless Connection (2.4G)

1. Locate the USB Receiver (G) stored in the compartment on the underside of the keyboard.
2. Plug the USB Receiver into an available USB port on your computer or device.
3. Slide the ON/OFF Power Switch (H) on the underside of the keyboard to the "ON" position.
4. The keyboard will automatically connect to the receiver. No additional drivers are typically required.

Note: For optimal wireless performance, ensure the keyboard is within 10 meters (33 feet) of the USB receiver and avoid obstructions.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Keyboard Functions

The NPET K32 functions as a standard full-size keyboard. Simply type as you normally would. The integrated wrist rest provides ergonomic support to reduce strain during extended use.

4.2 Multimedia and Shortcut Keys

The keyboard features 10 dedicated multimedia keys (A) and 12 shortcut keys (B) for quick access to various functions. These keys allow you to control media playback, adjust volume, and access common applications without interrupting your workflow or game.

4.3 Backlight Control

The NPET K32 offers multiple LED backlight modes and effects. Use the dedicated backlight control keys to cycle through modes and adjust brightness/speed:

• Fn + Scroll Lock: Cycle through 3 LED lighting backlit modes (e.g., breathing, 3-color alternate).
• Fn + Home/PgUp/PgDn: Cycle through 3 adjustable permanent mixed backlit modes.
• Fn + +/-: Adjust backlight brightness (4 levels).
• Fn + Left/Right Arrow: Adjust backlight speed (3 speeds).
• Fn + LED Key: Turn backlight ON/OFF.

4.4 Anti-Ghosting Feature

The keyboard features 26-key anti-ghosting, meaning multiple key presses are registered simultaneously without conflict. This is crucial for gaming where complex key combinations are often used.

4.5 Power Saving Mode

To conserve battery life, the keyboard will automatically enter sleeping mode after 60 seconds of inactivity. The backlights will turn off. To wake the keyboard, simply press any key.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Keyboard

To maintain the cleanliness and functionality of your keyboard:

• Turn off the keyboard before cleaning.
• Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe the surface.
• For deeper cleaning, use the provided keycap puller to carefully remove keycaps and clean underneath with compressed air or a small brush. Ensure keycaps are re-installed correctly.
• Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

5.2 Battery Care

To maximize battery lifespan:

• Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
• Charge the keyboard when the battery indicator is low.
• If storing the keyboard for an extended period, charge it to about 50% before storage and recharge every few months.

5.3 Water Resistance

The NPET K32 keyboard features a spill-resistant design, meaning it can withstand an average liquid spill. However, it is not fully waterproof. In case of a spill:

• Immediately turn off the keyboard and disconnect it from any power source.
• Wipe off the liquid with a dry cloth.
• Allow the keyboard to air dry completely before turning it back on.
• Avoid submerging the keyboard in water.
