Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Air fryer does not turn on. Appliance is not plugged in. Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a grounded electrical outlet.
Food is not cooked evenly. Basket is overcrowded; food not shaken/flipped. Do not overfill the basket. Shake or flip food halfway through cooking, especially smaller items. Use the Turn Reminder feature.
White smoke coming from the appliance. Grease residue from previous use; fatty food cooking. Clean the basket and crisper tray thoroughly after each use. For fatty foods, this is normal; ensure proper ventilation.
Food is not crispy. Too much moisture; not enough oil (if applicable); incorrect temperature/time. Pat food dry before air frying. A light spray of oil can help crispiness. Adjust temperature and time as needed. Ensure preheating is used.
