2. Setup and Initial Use
2.1 Winding the Watch
This watch features an automatic mechanical movement. While daily wear will typically keep the watch wound, it also supports manual winding. To manually wind the watch, rotate the crown clockwise approximately 30 to 35 times. This will provide approximately 48 hours of kinetic energy.
2.2 Setting Time and Calendar
The watch includes an annual calendar, monthly calendar, day of the week, and 24-hour display. To set these functions:
- Pull out the crown to the first position: This position is typically used for setting the date and day of the week. Rotate the crown to adjust these indicators.
- Pull out the crown to the second position: This position is used for setting the time. Rotate the crown to move the hour and minute hands. Ensure the 24-hour display is correctly aligned with AM/PM for accurate date changes.
- Push the crown back in: Once all settings are complete, firmly push the crown back into its original position to ensure water resistance and to start the watch movement.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Automatic Movement
The OUPINKE G3186-G watch is powered by an automatic mechanical movement. This means the watch is wound by the natural motion of your wrist while wearing it. For optimal performance, wear the watch regularly. If the watch is not worn for an extended period, it may stop and require manual winding as described in Section 2.1.
3.2 Luminous Display
The hands and markers of the watch are treated with a luminous material. To activate the luminescence, expose the watch dial to a bright light source (natural or artificial) for a few minutes. The stored light energy will then allow the hands and markers to glow in the dark.
4. Care and Maintenance
4.1 Water Resistance
The watch is water resistant up to 50 meters (160 feet). This rating means it can generally withstand splashes, brief immersion, hand washing, cold baths, and car washing. It is not suitable for swimming, diving, or hot water activities (e.g., hot showers, saunas) as steam and temperature changes can compromise the seals.
- Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before exposing the watch to water.
- Do not operate the crown or pushers while the watch is wet or submerged.
4.2 Cleaning and Storage
To maintain the appearance of your watch:
- Wipe the watch case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth regularly to remove dust and fingerprints.
- For more thorough cleaning, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Store the watch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and strong magnetic fields, which can affect the mechanical movement.
4.3 Sapphire Crystal and Tungsten Steel
The watch features a synthetic sapphire crystal, known for its exceptional scratch resistance. The bracelet is made of tungsten steel, a very hard and durable material. While these materials are highly resistant to wear, they are not entirely indestructible. Avoid dropping the watch or subjecting it to severe impacts.

5. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your OUPINKE watch, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Watch stops or loses time frequently | Insufficient winding; low power reserve; magnetic interference; internal mechanical issue. | Manually wind the watch (30-35 turns of the crown). Ensure regular wear. Keep away from strong magnetic fields (e.g., speakers, large electronics). If problem persists, contact customer support. |
| Calendar functions (date, day, month) do not change or are incorrect | Incorrect setting; setting during restricted hours; mechanical malfunction. | Refer to Section 2.2 for correct setting procedure. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can damage the movement. If issue persists, contact customer support. |
| Hands are difficult to see | Insufficient light exposure for luminous hands; design characteristic. | Expose the watch to bright light to charge the luminous material. Note that some skeleton designs may have less contrast between hands and dial. |
| Condensation under the crystal | Temperature change; compromised water resistance. | Immediately contact customer support. Do not attempt to open the watch yourself. |
