Operating Instructions
Jump Starting a Vehicle
Follow these steps carefully to jump-start your vehicle:
- Step 1: Insert Smart Clamp Plug. Insert the plug of the smart clamp completely into the jump starter's port. The indicator lights on the smart clamp will flash red and green alternately, indicating it's ready.
- Step 2: Connect to Car Battery. Correctly clip the red clamp to the positive (+) electrode of the car battery and the black clamp to the negative (-) electrode. The indicator lights will continue to flash red and green alternately, and you may hear a relay closing sound.
- Step 3: Start the Engine. Once connected, start your vehicle's engine. If the engine does not start on the first attempt, disconnect the smart clamps from the car battery, wait for at least 30 seconds, and then try again.
- Step 4: Remove Clamps. As soon as the vehicle starts, remove the jumper clamps from the car battery within 30 seconds.
