Operating Instructions

Preparing for Measurement

Applying the Arm Cuff

  1. Slide your left arm through the cuff loop. The air tube should run down the inside of your arm.
  2. Position the cuff so the bottom edge is approximately 1 inch (2-3 cm) above your elbow.
  3. Wrap the cuff snugly around your arm, securing it with the hook and loop fastener. Ensure it is not too tight or too loose.

Taking a Measurement

  1. With the cuff correctly applied and the unit connected, press the START button.
  2. The cuff will automatically inflate. Remain still and silent during the measurement.
  3. Once the measurement is complete, the cuff will deflate, and your systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will be displayed on the screen.
  4. The unit will automatically store the reading in its memory.
  5. Press the START button again to turn off the unit, or it will automatically shut off after 1 minute of inactivity.
