Product Overview

The Auriol Wireless Weather Station is designed to provide accurate temperature and humidity readings for both indoor and outdoor environments. With its three wireless sensors, you can monitor multiple areas simultaneously, such as a child's room, basement, or garden. The main station features a radio-controlled clock that automatically adjusts for date and time, including summer and winter time changes. It offers a clear display with a short backlight and allows for easy identification of data by naming each sensor.

Setup Guide

1. Battery Installation

1. Base Unit: Open the battery compartment on the back of the main weather station. Insert 3 x AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.
2. Wireless Sensors: For each of the three wireless sensors, open the battery compartment. Insert 2 x AAA alkaline batteries, observing correct polarity. Close the compartment securely to maintain splash protection.

2. Initial Pairing and Placement

Upon battery installation, the base unit will automatically search for signals from the wireless sensors. Ensure sensors are within range during initial setup.

• Base Unit: Place the base unit indoors, away from direct sunlight or heat sources. It can be placed on a flat surface or mounted on a wall using the provided mounting material.
• Wireless Sensors: Position the wireless sensors outdoors in locations where temperature and humidity are to be measured. They can be placed on a flat surface or mounted on a wall. Ensure they are within the 100m range of the base unit and in an area protected from direct heavy rain, despite their splash protection. Avoid placing them near large metal objects or strong electromagnetic interference sources.

Operating Instructions

Display Information

The main display unit shows the following information:

• Time and Date: Automatically set by the radio clock.
• Day of the Week: Adjustable in 7 languages.
• Indoor Temperature and Humidity: Measured by the base unit.
• Outdoor Temperature and Humidity: For each connected wireless sensor.
• Min/Max Readings: Displays the minimum and maximum recorded temperature and humidity.
• Trend Indicators: Arrows indicating rising, falling, or stable temperature/humidity.

Adjusting Settings

• Temperature Unit (°C/°F): Locate the °C/°F button (usually on the back or side of the base unit) and press it to toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
• Time Format (12/24 Hour): Press the 12/24H button to switch between 12-hour (with AM/PM) and 24-hour formats.
• Day of the Week Language: Refer to the specific buttons on your device (often labeled "Language" or similar) to cycle through the 7 available languages for the day of the week display.
• Sensor Naming: The base station allows you to assign a name (up to 5 characters) to each sensor for easy identification. Consult the specific button (e.g., "Sensor Name" or "Channel") and follow the on-screen prompts to customize sensor labels.
• Backlight: The display features a short backlight for improved visibility in low light conditions. This is typically activated by pressing any button or a dedicated "Light" button.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement

When the battery indicator appears on the display, it's time to replace the batteries. Use only new alkaline batteries of the specified type (AA for base unit, AAA for sensors). Always replace all batteries in a unit at the same time. Dispose of old batteries responsibly according to local regulations.

Cleaning

Wipe the weather station and sensors with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the surfaces or electronic components. Ensure the base unit remains dry, as it is for indoor use only. The sensors have IPX4 splash protection, meaning they are resistant to splashing water from any direction, but should not be submerged.
