Setup

1. Physical Setup

1. Unpack all components from the box.
2. Place the feeder on a flat, stable surface.
3. Insert the food bowl into the designated slot at the base of the feeder.
4. Open the lid of the food tank and insert the desiccant bag into its holder to keep food fresh.
5. Fill the food tank with dry pet food. Ensure the kibble size is between 2-12mm to prevent clogging.
6. Connect the power adapter to the feeder and plug it into a wall outlet. For backup power, install 3 D-size batteries (not included) in the battery compartment at the bottom of the feeder.

2. App Installation & Connection

The Yakry Pet Feeder uses a smart app for control and monitoring. Follow these steps to set up the app:

1. Download the "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life" app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android). You can scan the QR code below for direct access.

2. Register or log in to your account in the app.
3. Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The feeder does not support 5GHz networks.
4. In the app, tap "Add Device" or the "+" icon. Select "Small Home Appliance" > "Pet Feeder" (Wi-Fi).
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the feeder to your Wi-Fi network. This usually involves putting the feeder into pairing mode (refer to the feeder's indicator light for status) and entering your Wi-Fi password.

3. Setting Up Feeding Schedule

Use the app to create a customized feeding schedule for your pet:

4. You can set multiple feeding times per day and adjust portion sizes (0-20 portions per meal).

4. Personalized Voice Recording

Record a short message to call your pet at meal times:

2. Record a 10-second message. This message will play automatically before each scheduled feeding.

1. Manual Feeding

You can manually dispense food at any time using the app or the physical button on the feeder:

• Via App: On the feeder's control interface in the app, tap the "Feed" button to dispense one portion immediately. You may be able to select multiple portions depending on the app version.
• Via Feeder Button: Press the "Feed" button on the feeder's control panel to dispense one portion.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning Instructions
