Maintenance
Ink Refilling
When an ink tank runs low, refill it promptly to avoid print quality issues. Use only genuine Epson ink bottles designed for your EcoTank model. Refer to the "Setup Guide" section for detailed ink refilling instructions.
Print Head Cleaning
If printouts show missing lines or incorrect colors, perform a print head cleaning. This can be done through the printer utility software on your computer. Follow the on-screen instructions. You may need to perform this process a few times for optimal results.
Nozzle Check
Before performing a print head cleaning, it is recommended to run a nozzle check to diagnose which colors are affected. This also helps conserve ink.
Printer Cleaning
Regularly wipe the exterior of the printer with a soft, damp, lint-free cloth. Clean the scanner glass with a non-abrasive glass cleaner to ensure clear scans and copies.
