5. Setup

The MRCARTOOL B200 is designed for simple plug-and-play operation. Follow these steps to set up the device:

  1. Ensure the vehicle's ignition is off and all accessories are turned off.
  2. Connect the red positive (+) clamp to the positive terminal of the battery.
  3. Connect the black negative (-) clamp to the negative terminal of the battery.
  4. The device will power on automatically once connected.

6. Operating Instructions

The B200 offers various testing functions. Use the arrow buttons to navigate and the Enter button to select.

6.1. Battery Test

This test provides an accurate assessment of the battery's condition, including real voltage, rated CCA, measured CCA, resistance value, State of Health (SOH), and State of Charge (SOC).

  1. From the main menu, select "Battery Test".
  2. Choose the appropriate battery standard (e.g., CCA, DIN, EN).
  3. Input the rated CCA value of your battery if prompted.
  4. The tester will display the results.

6.2. Cranking Test

The cranking test evaluates the starting system by measuring the current voltage and minimum voltage during engine start-up.

  1. From the main menu, select "Cranking Test".
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to start the engine.
  3. The device will display the cranking voltage and other relevant data.

6.3. Charging Test

This test assesses the vehicle's charging system, providing information on maximum voltage, minimum voltage, and current voltage.

  1. From the main menu, select "Charging Test".
  2. Start the engine and let it run for approximately 15 seconds.
  3. Press the "OK" button to continue the test.
  4. Increase engine speed to around 2000 RPM for a few seconds if prompted.
  5. The tester will display the charging system results.

6.4. Maximum Load Testing

This test determines the battery's power supply status when all on-vehicle electrical appliances are fully powered on, simulating a high-demand scenario.

  1. From the main menu, select "Maximum Load Test".
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to turn on various electrical loads (e.g., headlights, air conditioning, audio system).
  3. The device will monitor and display the battery's performance under load.

6.5. Language Selection

The B200 supports multiple languages for user convenience.

  • From the main menu, select "Language".

  • Error messages: Refer to the on-screen message for specific guidance. If the issue persists, disconnect and reconnect the device.
  • Screen not responding: Disconnect the device from the battery and reconnect it.
