5. Maintenance
5.1. Cleaning
- Wipe the exterior of the case with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- For the interior EVA foam, use a soft, dry brush or a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust and debris.
- Ensure the case is completely dry before closing or storing equipment.
5.2. Storage
- Store the case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
- Periodically check the latches and hinges for any signs of wear or damage.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1. Difficulty Opening the Case
- If the case is difficult to open, it may be due to a pressure differential. The automatic pressure balance valve should mitigate this, but if resistance is felt, allow a few moments for pressure to equalize before attempting to open again.
- Ensure the latches are fully disengaged by pressing the red release buttons and lifting them completely.
6.2. Latches Not Securing
- Verify that the lid is properly aligned and fully closed. No items inside should be preventing the lid from seating correctly.
- Ensure no debris is obstructing the latch mechanism. Clean if necessary.
