7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your heating element, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Heating element does not turn on. | No power supply. Faulty outlet. Overheat protection activated. | Check if the plug is securely inserted and the power outlet is functional. Allow the unit to cool down if overheat protection was triggered. |
| Radiator is not heating sufficiently. | Incorrect temperature setting. Radiator size exceeds heating element capacity. Air in the radiator system. | Increase the temperature setting on the thermostat. Ensure the 600W element is suitable for your radiator (600-900W). Bleed the radiator to release trapped air. |
| Thermostat display is not working. | Power issue. Internal fault. | Check power supply. If the problem persists, contact customer support. |
| Heating element continuously runs without stopping. | Timer not set or set incorrectly. | Ensure the timer function is activated and set to 2H or 4H if desired. Refer to 'Setting Timer' section. |
If the problem persists after attempting these solutions, please contact EMKE customer support.
