Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and hygienic operation of your hot tub.
- Water Quality: Test water regularly using spa test strips. Adjust pH, alkalinity, and sanitizer levels as needed. Maintain proper chemical balance to prevent algae and bacterial growth.
- Filter Cartridge Cleaning: The Avenli Fresh system features front- and rear-end filtration. Remove and rinse the filter cartridge with a garden hose weekly, or more frequently depending on usage. Replace the filter cartridge every 1-2 months, or when it appears worn or clogged.
- Hot Tub Cleaning: Periodically drain the hot tub and clean the interior surface with a soft cloth and mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Rinse thoroughly before refilling.
- Cover Care: Clean the hot tub cover regularly with a mild soap and water solution. Ensure the cover is securely fastened with the lockable clips when the hot tub is not in use to maintain warmth and keep debris out.
- Winterization/Storage: If storing the hot tub for an extended period or during cold weather, completely drain all water, clean and dry the tub thoroughly. Deflate and fold neatly. Store in a dry, temperate location, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
