5. Maintenance

5.1 Charging the Battery

When the battery is low, the mouse's indicator light may flash. Connect the mouse to a USB-C power source using the provided cable. A full charge typically takes a few hours. Avoid using the mouse while charging for optimal battery life, though it can be used if necessary.

5.2 Cleaning the Trackball

Over time, dust and debris can accumulate around the trackball, affecting its smooth operation. To clean:

  1. Turn off the mouse.
  2. Gently push the trackball from the underside opening (if available) or carefully pry it out from the top using a non-abrasive tool.
  3. Clean the trackball and the internal sensors/rollers with a soft, lint-free cloth, slightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol if necessary.
  4. Ensure all components are dry before reinserting the trackball.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Mouse not responding:
    • Ensure the mouse is turned on.
    • Check battery level and charge if necessary.
    • Verify the correct connection profile (2.4 GHz or Bluetooth) is selected.
    • For 2.4 GHz, ensure the dongle is securely plugged into a working USB port.
    • For Bluetooth, ensure the mouse is paired and connected in your device's Bluetooth settings. Try re-pairing if issues persist.
  • Cursor movement is erratic or sticky:
    • Clean the trackball and its internal components as described in the Maintenance section.
  • Cannot connect via Bluetooth:
    • Ensure the mouse is in Bluetooth pairing mode (indicator light blinking rapidly).
    • Check your device's Bluetooth settings and ensure Bluetooth is enabled.
    • Remove any previous pairings of the mouse from your device and try pairing again.
    • Try connecting to a different Bluetooth profile (BT1 or BT2).
  • Battery not charging:
    • Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the mouse and the power source.
    • Try a different USB-C cable or power adapter.
    • Ensure the power source is active.
