4. Setup

4.1. Battery Installation and Charging

The Magic Mixies Cauldron requires a Lithium battery (included) and the Magic Mixie figure requires 3 LR44 batteries (included). Ensure all batteries are correctly installed according to the instructions in the spell book or on the device itself.

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the cauldron using the provided USB charging cable. Connect the USB cable to the cauldron and a compatible USB power source. Charging typically takes approximately one hour.

4.2. Initial Preparation

Place the cauldron on a stable, flat surface. Ensure you have all the magical ingredients and the spell book ready for use.

5. Operation: Creating Your Magic Mixie

Follow the steps in the spell book and the instructions below to magically create your Magic Mixie. The process involves adding ingredients, stirring, and tapping the cauldron with your magic wand. The creation process consists of 7 cycles.

1. Prepare the Potion: Begin by adding the "potion" (water from the refill bottle) into the cauldron. The cauldron will detect the water and initiate the magical process.
2. Add Sound Dust: Add the 'Sound Dust' fizz powder to give your Mixie its voice. Stir the potion with your magic wand until you hear a tapping sound.
3. Add Magic Feather: Drop the magic feather into the cauldron to give your Mixie wings. Stir until you hear the tapping sound.
4. Add Fizz Flower: Stir in the 'Fizz Flower' to add color to your Mixie. Continue stirring until the tapping sound is heard.
5. Name Your Mixie: Write your Mixie's name on the Naming Scroll (dissolvable paper) and add it to the potion. Stir until the tapping sound is heard.
6. Perform the Spell: Use the magic wand to tap the rim of the cauldron three times when you hear the "Tap! Tap! Tap!" prompt.
7. The Reveal: Observe as real mist rises from the cauldron, revealing your Magic Mixie.

5.1. Interacting with Your Magic Mixie

Your Magic Mixie is interactive and responds to your touch and the magic wand. It can perform spells, grant wishes, and make enchanting sounds.

• Spell Mode: Tap the gem on your Mixie's head once with the wand. The gem will turn purple, indicating spell mode.
• Wish Mode: Tap the gem twice with the wand. The gem will turn green if your wish is granted.
• Enchantment Mode: Hold the wand to the gem for a few seconds to activate enchantment mode, which allows interaction with the cauldron.
• Recharging Energy: Your Mixie's magical energy can be refilled by nurturing it (petting) or allowing it to rest.

5.2. Recharging and Repeating the Magic

The cauldron can be used repeatedly to reveal other items or to simply enjoy the mist and spell-casting experience.

• Mist Refill: The cauldron's mist feature can be refilled using the provided vegetable glycerin. The mist will work approximately 5 times before needing a refill.
• Repeating Revelations: To reveal new items, place them in the small pink box located at the bottom of the cauldron. Reset the cauldron using the reset key, then add the potion (water) and follow the 7 creation cycles as before. Note that adding ingredients is optional for subsequent reveals; only the water and wand taps are essential.
• Spell Mode (without reveal): The cauldron also features a "spell" mode for continuous play without mist or a reveal. In this mode, you can add potion, ingredients, stir, and tap the wand for extended magical play.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the cauldron and accessories with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse the electronic components in water.
• Storage: Store the Magic Mixies Cauldron and its components in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
