3. Product Overview and Features
The ANDYCINE C5 is a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS monitor designed for DSLR and mirrorless cameras, featuring ultra-high brightness and a touch screen interface. Key features include:

4. Setup
4.1 Powering the Monitor
The C5 monitor can be powered in several ways:
- NP-F Battery: Attach the included NP-F style battery to the battery plate on the rear of the monitor.
- DC 12V Input: Connect an external 12V DC power source to the "DC IN 12V" port.
- F970 External Power Kit: The built-in F970 plate allows for installation and power supply to compatible external equipment, such as wireless transmitters.

4.2 Connecting to a Camera
- Mount the monitor onto your camera using the mini hot shoe mount.
- Connect the Micro HDMI Cable from your camera's HDMI output to the "HDMI IN" port on the monitor.
- (Optional) For audio monitoring, connect headphones to the 3.5mm stereo headphone jack.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off and Touch Screen Control
Press and hold the power/touch button on the top of the monitor to power it on or off. A short press of this button will enable or disable the touch screen functionality.

5.2 Menu Navigation
The monitor features an intuitive touch-based menu system. You can navigate by swiping and tapping on the screen. A scroll wheel on the top also allows for menu navigation and selection.
Swipe down from the top of the screen to adjust backlight brightness. Swipe left or right from the edges to access quick settings.
5.3 Professional Auxiliary Functions
The C5 monitor offers a suite of professional tools to assist with accurate exposure and focus:
- Waveform: Displays luminance and color information.
- Vectorscope: Visualizes color saturation and hue.
- RGB Histogram: Shows the distribution of red, green, and blue channels.
- Focus Assist: Highlights in-focus areas (color-selectable).
- Audio Meters: Monitors audio levels.
- Zebra: Indicates overexposed areas.
- Crosshatch/Safe Areas/Cinema Guides: Assists with framing and composition.
- Image Functions: Scan Mode (Under/Over Scan), Aspect Ratio, Anamorphic de-squeeze, Mirror, Zoom, Freeze, Pixel-to-Pixel.
- HDR/LUTs: Supports HDR monitoring and allows importing custom 3D LUTs via SD card.

5.4 Auto Dimming

7. Maintenance
- Keep the monitor clean using a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.

8. Troubleshooting
- No Signal: Ensure HDMI cables are securely connected and the camera's output settings match the monitor's input.
- Monitor Gets Hot: This is normal during prolonged use, especially at high brightness. The monitor has internal cooling. If excessive, ensure vents are not blocked.
- Fan Noise: The monitor has an internal fan. If fan noise is disruptive, especially in quiet environments, adjust the fan speed settings in the system menu (Manual/Auto).
- Touchscreen Unresponsive: Ensure the touch screen is enabled via the power/touch button. If issues persist, try restarting the monitor.
- HDMI/Touchscreen Malfunction: Ensure firmware is up to date. If problems persist, contact customer support.
