Setup

1. SIM Card Installation

The Easyfone Prime-A7 4G requires a Nano SIM card. Ensure the phone is powered off before inserting or removing the SIM card.

  1. Locate the SIM card slot on the side or back of the phone.
  2. Carefully open the SIM card tray.
  3. Insert the Nano SIM card into the designated slot with the gold contacts facing down, ensuring it is correctly oriented.
  4. Close the SIM card tray securely.

2. Battery Installation

The phone comes with a removable 1500mAh Lithium Ion battery.

  1. Remove the back cover of the phone.
  2. Align the battery contacts with the terminals inside the battery compartment.
  3. Gently press the battery into place until it is secure.
  4. Replace the back cover.

3. Charging the Phone

Before first use, fully charge the phone battery. The phone can be charged using the included charging dock or directly via the USB cable.

  • Using the Charging Dock: Place the phone into the charging dock, ensuring the charging contacts align. The phone will indicate charging status on its screen.
  • Using the USB Cable: Connect the USB cable to the phone's charging port and the other end to the US standard charger or a compatible USB power source.

4. Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power/End Call button (red button) until the screen lights up.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power/End Call button until a power-off option appears on the screen, then confirm.

Operating Instructions

1. Making and Receiving Calls

  • To Make a Call: Dial the number using the keypad and press the Call button (green button).
  • To Receive a Call: Press the Call button (green button) when the phone rings.
  • To End a Call: Press the End Call button (red button).

2. Sending and Receiving SMS Messages

  • Navigate to the "Message" menu using the navigation keys.
  • Select "Write Message" to compose a new SMS.
  • Enter the recipient's number and your message.
  • Press "Send".
  • Received messages will appear in the "Inbox".

Charging notification sound is loud/frequent. This is a design feature to confirm charging. This is a known characteristic. There is currently no option to disable or reduce the volume of this specific notification.
SOS GPS function is inaccurate or fails. GPS signal strength varies by environment. The GPS function may have long or unsuccessful positioning time due to user environment differences. Ensure the phone has a clear view of the sky for best GPS performance.
Screen is locked or unresponsive. Screen lock slider is engaged. Locate the screen lock slider on the side of the phone and disengage it.
