Setup and Assembly Instructions
This storage rack features a boltless design for straightforward assembly. A rubber mallet (not included) is highly recommended to secure connections firmly.
- Unpack and Inspect: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Lay them out and compare them against the package contents list to ensure everything is present.
- Assemble the Frame: Begin by connecting the vertical uprights with the horizontal beams. The boltless design allows components to interlock. Ensure each tab is fully seated into its corresponding slot. A rubber mallet can be used to gently tap connections into place for a secure fit.
- Install Shelf Supports: Attach the shorter support beams for each shelf level. These will provide the base for the MDF boards.
- Insert MDF Boards: Once the frame for a shelf level is complete, carefully place an MDF board onto the supports. Repeat for all five levels.
- Attach Plastic Feet: Secure the plastic feet to the bottom of the uprights. These feet protect your floor from scratches and provide additional stability.

Operating and Usage Instructions
The Yaheetech storage shelf is designed for versatility and can be adapted to various storage needs.
Adjusting Shelf Height
The height of each of the five tiers can be adjusted to accommodate items of different sizes. To adjust a shelf, carefully remove the MDF board and detach the support beams from the uprights. Reattach the beams at the desired height by aligning them with the slots on the uprights and securing them with a rubber mallet. Then, replace the MDF board.
Configuration Options
The unit can be assembled as a single tall 5-tier shelving unit or reconfigured into two shorter, separate units (e.g., a 3-tier and a 2-tier shelf) or even a workbench setup. Refer to the assembly diagram for visual guidance on these configurations.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and continued performance of your storage shelf.
- Cleaning: Wipe the metal frame and MDF boards with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the powder-coated finish and MDF.
- Inspection: Periodically check all connections to ensure they remain tight and secure. If any connections feel loose, gently tap them with a rubber mallet to re-seat them.
- Floor Protection: Ensure the plastic feet are always in place on the bottom of the uprights to prevent scratching or damage to your flooring.
- Rust Prevention: The metal frame is powder-coated for rust resistance. If the coating is scratched or damaged, consider applying a rust-inhibiting paint to prevent corrosion.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues during assembly or use, consider the following common solutions:
- Difficulty Assembling / Loose Connections: The boltless design requires tabs to be fully seated. Use a rubber mallet to firmly tap each connection point until it is secure. Sometimes, two people may be required to hold components steady during initial assembly.
- Shelf Instability: Ensure the unit is on a flat, level surface. Verify that all frame connections are fully engaged. For maximum stability, especially with heavy loads or in active environments, consider anchoring the unit to a wall using appropriate hardware (not included).
- Damaged MDF Boards: While the MDF boards are designed for durability, they can be susceptible to damage from impact or excessive moisture. If a board is cracked or damaged, it may need to be replaced to maintain the shelf's load capacity.
