3.1 Powering On/Off

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Preset Switching

Once paired, the footswitches allow you to navigate through presets:

• Press footswitch A or B simultaneously to scroll up through preset banks.
• Press footswitch C or D simultaneously to scroll down through preset banks.
• Press individual footswitches (A, B, C, D) to select specific presets within the current bank.

4.2 Tap Tempo

For presets that include delay effects, the GWF4 supports tap tempo functionality:

• If a selected preset has a delay effect, the LED of footswitch B will blink to indicate the current delay time.
• Press footswitch B more than three times to set the delay time via tap tempo.

4.3 Looper and Drum Machine

The GWF4 can control both looper and drum machine functions:

• Press footswitches B and C simultaneously to enter 'Looper and Drum Machine' mode. The footswitch display will show 'Ld'.
• In this mode, footswitch D starts playing the drum groove.
• Press footswitch C to set the playing speed via tap tempo.
• Press and hold footswitch C to enter drum groove select mode. The LEDs of C and D will blink simultaneously. Use C or D to switch between grooves. This mode will exit automatically if idle for 3 seconds.
• Footswitches A and B are for looper control. Press A to start recording. If a guitar signal is detected, the looper will begin recording.
• Press B to stop recording. Press and hold B to delete the recorded tracks.
• To use the looper and drum machine simultaneously, enter the drum machine page in the app and turn on the SYNC function. Press A on the footswitch to start recording after a count-in. Press B to stop both simultaneously.

5.1 Bluetooth Audio

The GWF4 supports Bluetooth audio for playing backing tracks from your mobile device:

1. Open the Bluetooth menu on your mobile device.
2. Search for "Prime P1 Audio" and confirm connection.
3. Once connected, you can play audio from your mobile device through the GWF4's output.

5.2 OTG Recording

For direct recording to a mobile device, OTG (On-The-Go) functionality is available:

• A Type-C USB 3.0 cable and an OTG cable are required.
• Connect the Type-C USB port of the USB 3.0 cable to the Prime P1.
• Connect the OTG cable to your mobile device. The Type-C USB port of the OTG cable is for Android devices, while a Lightning USB OTG is for iOS devices.
• Connect the Type-A port of the USB 3.0 cable with the OTG cable.
• The OTG side connects to your mobile device, and the other side connects to the Prime P1. The indicator on the Prime P1 will light up.
• For Android devices supporting OTG, you can use the native camera app for recording. If not, a third-party recording app may be necessary.
• iOS or iPadOS users can typically use the native camera app directly for recording.
