Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the inside of the safe door.
- Open the battery cover.
- Insert 4 x AA 1.5V batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery cover. The safe will emit a beep, indicating successful installation.
Note: The included batteries are for testing purposes. For prolonged use, replace them with new, high-quality batteries.

2. Setting Your Personal Code
The safe comes with a factory default code (usually 159). It is highly recommended to change this immediately.
- With the safe door open, press the red reset button located on the inside of the door, near the hinge. You will hear a beep.
- Within 5 seconds, enter your desired 3-8 digit code on the keypad.
- Press the 'E' button to confirm. The safe will beep twice, indicating the new code is set.
- Test the new code with the door open to ensure it works correctly before closing the safe.
3. Mounting the Safe (Optional)
For added security, the safe can be mounted to a wall or floor using the provided screws.
- Choose a suitable location for mounting.
- Mark the drilling points through the pre-drilled holes inside the safe.
- Drill pilot holes in the wall or floor.
- Align the safe and secure it using the provided screws.
Operating Instructions
Opening the Safe with Your Code
- Enter your 3-8 digit personal code on the keypad.
- Press the 'E' button. The green light will illuminate, and you will hear a beep.
- Within 5 seconds, turn the knob clockwise to open the safe door.
Closing and Locking the Safe
- Close the safe door.
- Turn the knob counter-clockwise to lock the safe.
Using the Emergency Key
In case of forgotten code or dead batteries, the emergency key can be used to open the safe.
- Locate the emergency keyhole, usually hidden behind a small cover on the keypad panel.
- Remove the cover.
- Insert the emergency key and turn it counter-clockwise.
- While holding the key turned, turn the knob clockwise to open the safe door.
- Keep emergency keys in a secure location, separate from the safe.

Changing Your Code (with door closed)
This method allows you to change the code without opening the safe, useful for quick updates.
- Enter your current 3-8 digit code.
- Press the 'E' button. The green light will illuminate.
- While the green light is on, press the '*' button.
- Enter your new 3-8 digit code.
- Press the 'E' button to confirm. The safe will beep twice.
- Test the new code immediately to ensure it works.
Maintenance
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries annually or when the low battery indicator (if present) illuminates. Always use 4 new AA 1.5V batteries.
- Cleaning: Wipe the safe's exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Key Storage: Store emergency keys in a secure location away from the safe and not inside it.
Troubleshooting
