Setup
1. Charging Station Placement
Place the charging station against a wall in an open, uncluttered area. Ensure there is at least 1 meter (3 feet) of clear space to the front and 0.5 meters (1.5 feet) to each side of the charging station for optimal robot navigation.

2. Initial Charge
Before first use, fully charge the robot vacuum. Place the robot on the charging station, ensuring the charging contacts align. The indicator lights on the robot will show charging status. A full charge takes approximately 4-5 hours.
3. Install Side Brushes
Snap the side brushes onto the posts on the bottom of the robot until they click into place.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
Press and hold the power button on the robot or the remote control to turn the device on or off.
2. Cleaning Modes
The G8000 offers 5 cleaning modes:
- Smart Clean (Zig-Zag Path): The robot cleans in an efficient zig-zag pattern, covering the entire area. This is the default and most efficient mode.
- Edge Clean: The robot cleans along walls and furniture edges.
- Spot Clean: The robot intensely cleans a specific area in a spiral pattern.
- Random Clean: The robot cleans randomly, suitable for small, simple spaces.
- Manual Clean: Control the robot's movement manually using the remote control or app.

3. Mopping Function
To use the mopping function, fill the water tank with clean water and attach the mopping cloth holder with a clean mopping cloth. Insert the water tank into the robot. The robot will automatically switch to mopping mode when the water tank is installed. Adjust water output levels (Low, Middle, High) via the app or remote.

Note: Remove the mop holder before cleaning carpets to prevent wetting. The robot can automatically increase suction on carpets (Carpet Boost).
4. App & Voice Control
Download the Tikom app to control the robot from your smartphone. The robot is also compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home for voice commands.

5. Boundary Strips
Use the included boundary strips to set "No-Go" areas for the robot, preventing it from entering specific rooms or areas.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your Tikom G8000.
1. Emptying the Dustbin
Empty the dustbin after each cleaning cycle or when full. The dustbin is easily accessible from the top of the robot.
2. Cleaning Filters
Clean the HEPA filter and sponge regularly (weekly recommended). Tap off loose debris and rinse with water if necessary. Ensure filters are completely dry before re-installing.
3. Cleaning Side Brushes
Check side brushes for tangled hair or debris and clean them as needed. Replace worn brushes to maintain cleaning efficiency.
4. Cleaning Mopping Cloth
Remove and wash the mopping cloth after each mopping session. Air dry completely before re-use.
5. Cleaning Sensors and Charging Contacts
Wipe the anti-drop sensors, anti-collision sensors, and charging contacts on the robot and charging station with a clean, dry cloth periodically to ensure proper function.

Troubleshooting
