2. Safety Precautions

  • Always operate the boat in open water areas, away from swimmers, wildlife, and obstacles.
  • Do not operate in saltwater.
  • Ensure the boat's hatches are securely closed before placing it in water to prevent water ingress.
  • Keep fingers, hair, and loose clothing away from the propeller when the boat is powered on.
  • Adult supervision is recommended for users under 14 years of age.
  • Disconnect the battery from the boat when not in use and during charging.

4.2 2.4 GHz Radio Control Transmitter

The 2.4 GHz transmitter provides a stable connection and allows for multiple boats to operate simultaneously without interference. Key controls include:

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Boat Battery

The boat uses a 3S 11.1V/2000mAh Li-ion battery. Use the provided USB charging cable.

  1. Connect the battery to the USB charging cable.
  2. Plug the USB cable into a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
  3. The red light on the charger will stay lit during charging.
  4. The red light will turn off when the battery is fully charged. Charging typically takes 4 to 6 hours.
  5. Do not leave the battery charging unattended.

5.2 Installing Batteries in the Transmitter

The transmitter requires 4 x AA batteries (not included).

  1. Open the battery cover on the back of the transmitter.
  2. Insert 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery cover securely.

5.3 Installing the Boat Battery

  1. Open the boat's top hatch.
  2. Connect the fully charged battery to the boat's power connector.
  3. Place the battery securely inside the battery compartment.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Pairing the Transmitter and Boat

  1. Ensure the boat battery is connected and the boat's power switch is ON.
  2. Turn on the transmitter. The transmitter's LED light will blink.
  3. Once the boat and transmitter are successfully paired, the transmitter's LED light will become solid.

6.2 Basic Controls

  • Forward: Pull the trigger towards you.
  • Brake: Release the trigger to the neutral position.
  • Backward: Push the trigger away from you.
  • Turn Left/Right: Rotate the steering wheel left or right.

6.3 Self-Righting Function

The ALPHAREV R608 features a self-righting hull design. If the boat capsizes during operation, it will automatically flip back upright without any manual intervention.
