Setup

Follow these steps to assemble your AMBITFUL FW30x120 Softbox:

1. Unfold the Softbox: Carefully remove the softbox from its storage bag and unfold it.
2. Insert Support Rods: Insert each of the four support rods diagonally into the designated chuck slots on the Bowens mount adapter ring. Then, secure the other end of each rod into the corresponding pockets on the softbox fabric.
3. Attach Bowens Mount Adapter Ring: Secure the Bowens mount adapter ring to the back of the softbox using the four-sided Velcro strips. Ensure it is firmly attached.
4. Install Diffusers and Grid: Attach the inner soft light cloth, then the outer soft light cloth, and finally the honeycomb grid to the front of the softbox using the integrated Velcro fasteners. These can be used individually or in combination to achieve desired light diffusion.
5. Mount to Light Stand: Attach the assembled softbox to your Bowens mount compatible light unit on a stable light stand.

• Light Diffusion: Use the inner and outer soft light cloths to soften and spread the light output from your Bowens mount lamp. The double-layer diffusion provides a very soft and even light quality.
• Light Control with Honeycomb Grid: Attach the honeycomb grid to the front of the softbox to control light spill and direct the light more precisely onto your subject. This creates a more focused beam and can add depth to your images.
• Adjustable Angle: The Bowens mount adapter ring features a 360° adjustable angle clamp, allowing you to position the softbox at any desired angle for optimal lighting.
