2. Setup

2.1. Battery Installation

The scale requires 2 CR2032 batteries, which are included. To install or replace batteries:

1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.
2. Open the battery cover.
3. Insert the 2 CR2032 batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery cover securely.

1. Search for "Foodiet" in your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
2. Download and install the app.
3. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
4. Open the Foodiet app and follow the on-screen instructions to pair with your URAMAZ Smart Food Scale.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1. Power On/Off

• To power on: Press the ON/TARE button.
• To power off: Press and hold the ON/TARE button for a few seconds, or wait for the automatic shut-off.

3.2. Unit Conversion

The scale supports five measurement units:

• g (grams)
• lb:oz (pounds and ounces)
• ml (milliliters for water)
• fl:oz (fluid ounces for water)
• ml for milk (milliliters for milk)

Press the UNIT button to cycle through the available units.

The one-touch tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container or continuously add ingredients without recalculating.

The scale features an automatic shut-off function to conserve battery life. The default is 2 minutes, but this can be customized via the Foodiet app to 2, 3.5, 5, or 30 minutes to prevent unwanted shutdowns during longer food preparation sessions.
