Setup Guide

Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance and longevity of your LG refrigerator. Follow these guidelines for setup:

Unpacking and Placement

• Carefully remove all packaging materials, including tape and temporary labels.
• Ensure the refrigerator is placed on a level, stable surface. Use the leveling legs to adjust if necessary.
• Allow adequate clearance for proper ventilation. Recommended installation clearances are: Sides 2", Top 2", Back 2".

Electrical Connection

• Connect the refrigerator to a dedicated, grounded electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords.

Water Line Connection (for Internal Water Dispenser & Ice Maker)

• If installing the optional ice maker kit (LK75C) or using the internal water dispenser, connect the refrigerator to a potable water supply. Refer to the separate installation guide for the ice maker kit for detailed instructions.
• Flush the water system before initial use to remove any impurities.

Digital Temperature Controls

The refrigerator features electronic/digital temperature controls designed to maintain optimal humidity and temperature levels. Three temperature sensors constantly monitor conditions within the refrigerator to keep your food fresher, longer. Adjust settings using the internal membrane/Green LED display.

Multi-Air Flow™ System

This system utilizes strategically-placed vents in every section to surround your food with cool air, ensuring consistent cooling throughout the refrigerator compartment, regardless of where items are placed.

Internal Water Dispenser

Located above the top shelf, the internal water dispenser provides easy access to fresh, filtered water. You can conveniently fill cups, pitchers, or small pots. The water filter model is LT500P.

Ice Maker (Optional)

If the optional ice maker kit (LK75C) is installed, your refrigerator can produce over 2 lbs. of ice per day. The handy ice bin holds approximately 3 days' worth of cubes.

Humidity-Controlled Crispers

Two humidity-controlled crisper bins help maintain optimal humidity levels, extending the freshness and life of your fruits and vegetables.

Cleaning the Exterior

• The LG PrintProof™ fingerprint and smudge resistant finish can be easily cleaned with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.

Cleaning the Interior

• Wipe down interior surfaces, shelves, and door bins regularly with a mild soap and water solution. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
• The Spill Protector™ Tempered Glass Shelves are designed for easy cleanup of spills.

Water Filter Replacement

• Replace the LT500P water filter approximately every six months, or when the filter indicator light illuminates, to ensure continued access to fresh, filtered water.
