Operating Instructions
Follow these steps for safe and effective operation of your grill.
- Lighting the Grill:
- Ensure the gas cartridge is securely connected and the water tray is filled.
- Push and turn the gas regulator knob counter-clockwise to the 'HIGH' position. You should hear a click, indicating the piezo ignition has activated and lit the burner.
- If the burner does not light on the first attempt, turn the knob to 'OFF', wait 5 minutes for any gas to dissipate, and try again.
- Adjusting Heat: The heat supply is infinitely adjustable. Turn the gas regulator knob to increase or decrease the flame intensity as needed for your cooking.
- Cooking:
- Grilling: Use the reversible cast aluminum grill plate. The ribbed side is ideal for searing meats and vegetables, creating grill marks. The smooth side is suitable for delicate items or for use as a griddle.
- Pot/Pan Cooking: Remove the grill plate and place the cooking pot support over the burner. This allows you to use pots and pans for boiling, simmering, or frying.
- Turning Off the Grill: When finished cooking, turn the gas regulator knob clockwise to the 'OFF' position. Ensure the flame is extinguished.
- Disconnecting Gas Cartridge: Allow the grill to cool completely before disconnecting the gas cartridge. Disconnect the cartridge outdoors, away from ignition sources.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and safe operation of your grill.
- Cool Down: Always allow the grill to cool completely before cleaning.
- Empty Water Tray: Carefully remove the water/fat collection tray and dispose of the contents. The tray is dishwasher-safe for easy cleaning.
- Clean Grill Plate: The cast aluminum grill plate has a non-stick coating. Clean it with warm soapy water and a soft sponge. For stubborn residue, soak the plate before cleaning. Avoid abrasive cleaners or metal brushes that could damage the coating.
- Clean Burner: Periodically check the burner for blockages (e.g., from food debris or insects). Use a soft brush to clean the burner ports if necessary.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe down the exterior surfaces of the grill with a damp cloth.
- Storage: Once clean and dry, store all components in the provided carry bag. Store the grill in a dry, protected area.
