1. Introduction

The SteelSeries Aerox 3 Wireless is an ultra-lightweight gaming mouse designed for speed, comfort, and durability. 2. Setup

2.1 Package Contents

Before you begin, ensure all items are present in your package:

2.2 Initial Charging

For optimal performance, fully charge your mouse before first use. Connect the USB-C end of the Super Mesh Cable to the mouse and the USB-A end to a powered USB port on your computer or a USB wall adapter. The RGB lighting will indicate charging status.

2.3 Connectivity Options

The Aerox 3 Wireless offers two wireless connectivity modes and a wired mode:

• 2.4GHz Wireless (Quantum 2.0 Wireless): For lag-free gaming, connect the USB-C Wireless Dongle to your computer, either directly or using the USB-C to USB-A adapter. Set the switch on the underside of the mouse to '2.4G'.
• Bluetooth 5.0: For general use and extended battery life, set the switch on the underside of the mouse to 'BT'. Pair the mouse with your device via Bluetooth settings.
• Wired: Connect the mouse directly to your computer using the USB-C to USB-A Super Mesh Cable. This also charges the mouse.

2.4 Software Installation (SteelSeries GG)

3. Operating Your Mouse

3.1 Basic Functions

The Aerox 3 Wireless features standard mouse buttons:

• Left and Right Click (L/R Triggers)
• Scroll Wheel (Clickable)

• DPI Button (Located behind the scroll wheel, programmable)

3.2 DPI Adjustment

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

The Aerox 3 Wireless features AquaBarrier™ technology, rated IP54, protecting its internal components from water splashes, dust, and dirt. To clean the exterior:

• Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the surface.
• For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Gently clean the honeycomb shell openings with a soft brush or compressed air to remove dust buildup.

4.2 Glide Skates

The mouse uses 100% Virgin-Grade PTFE Glideskates for silky smooth movement. If these become worn over time, replacement sets can be purchased from authorized SteelSeries retailers.

4.3 Storage

When not in use for extended periods, store the mouse in a clean, dry environment away from extreme temperatures. Ensure the mouse is turned off to conserve battery life.

5.1 Connectivity Issues

• No Connection (2.4GHz): Ensure the USB-C Wireless Dongle is securely plugged into a USB port and the mouse switch is set to '2.4G'. Try a different USB port.
• No Connection (Bluetooth): Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the mouse switch is set to 'BT'. Remove previous pairings and re-pair the mouse.
• Interference: Move the mouse closer to the dongle or Bluetooth device. Avoid placing the dongle near other wireless devices or large metal objects.

• Jittery or Inaccurate Tracking: Clean the optical sensor on the underside of the mouse. Ensure your mousepad or surface is clean and uniform.
