1. Introduction and Overview

The AVATTO Smart WiFi Switch Relay Module is designed to transform your conventional wall switches into smart, WiFi-controlled devices. This module enables remote control via a smartphone application, voice control through popular smart assistants like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, and programmable scheduling for enhanced home automation. Its compact design allows for installation within standard flush-mounted electrical boxes, making it a discreet addition to your smart home system.

2. Safety Information

• Always disconnect power at the circuit breaker before performing any electrical work. Failure to do so may result in electric shock or damage to the device.
• Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician or a person with a thorough understanding of electrical systems.
• Ensure the module is installed in a dry, indoor environment.
• Do not exceed the maximum load ratings specified in the 'Specifications' section.
• Verify that the supply voltage matches the operating voltage of the module.

5. Installation

Before beginning installation, ensure you have read and understood the safety information in Section 2. This module requires both a live wire (L) and a neutral wire (N) for operation.

5.1 Wiring Diagram for Single Switch Control

1. Disconnect Power: Turn off the main power supply at your circuit breaker to the switch you intend to modify.
2. Identify Wires: Carefully remove your existing wall switch cover. Identify the Live (L), Neutral (N), and Load (L1) wires. If a neutral wire is not present in your switch box, this module cannot be installed.
3. Connect the Module: Follow the wiring diagram below. Connect the Live (L) and Neutral (N) wires from your mains supply to the corresponding 'L' and 'N' terminals on the module. Connect the Load wire (to your light fixture) to the 'L1' terminal on the module. Connect your existing wall switch wires to the 'S1' and 'S2' terminals on the module.
4. Secure Module: Place the module carefully into the flush-mounted electrical box, ensuring no wires are pinched.
5. Restore Power: Reinstall the switch cover and restore power at the circuit breaker.

5.2 Wiring Diagram for Two-Way Control

The module supports two-way control, allowing a single light to be controlled by two separate physical switches. The wiring for this configuration is shown below.

6. Setup and App Pairing

After successful physical installation, the module needs to be paired with the Tuya Smart or Smart Life application.

1. Download the App: Download the 'Tuya Smart' or 'Smart Life' app from your smartphone's app store (available on iOS and Android).
2. Register/Log In: Open the app and register for a new account or log in if you already have one.
3. Enter Pairing Mode: With the module powered on, typically press and hold the physical switch connected to the module for 5-10 seconds until the indicator light on the module blinks rapidly. This indicates it is in pairing mode.
4. Add Device: In the app, tap the '+' icon (usually in the top right corner) to add a new device. Select 'Electrical' > 'Switch (Wi-Fi)' or allow the app to auto-discover the device.
5. Connect to Wi-Fi: Confirm your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password. The module only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks; 5GHz networks are not compatible.
6. Complete Pairing: The app will search for and connect to the module. Once connected, you can rename the device and assign it to a room.

7. Operating Instructions

7.1 App Control

Once paired, you can control your lights or appliances from anywhere using the Tuya Smart/Smart Life app.

• On/Off Control: Tap the device icon in the app to toggle the connected light or appliance on or off.
• Scheduling: Use the 'Timer' or 'Schedule' function within the app to set specific times for the device to turn on or off. You can create one-time, daily, or rhythmic schedules based on your preferences or even sunrise/sunset times.

7.2 Voice Control

Integrate your AVATTO module with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant for hands-free control.

1. Link Accounts: In the Alexa or Google Home app, navigate to the 'Skills' or 'Works with Google' section. Search for 'Tuya Smart' or 'Smart Life' and enable the skill/service. Log in with your Tuya Smart/Smart Life account credentials to link the accounts.
2. Discover Devices: Once linked, ask your voice assistant to
