4.1. Display Layout
- Time Display: Current time (12/24 hour format).

5. Setup Guide
5.1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device (refer to Figure 4.2).
- Remove the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 3 x AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
- Replace the battery compartment cover securely.
5.2. Initial Power On
After battery installation, the device will power on automatically. The display will show default settings or begin searching for signals. Allow a few moments for initial readings to stabilize.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Setting Time and Date
- Press and hold the MODE button for approximately 3 seconds to enter time setting mode. The hour display will flash.
- Use the UP or DOWN buttons to adjust the hour.
- Press MODE again to confirm the hour and move to the minute setting. Adjust with UP or DOWN.
- Continue pressing MODE to cycle through year, month, and day settings, adjusting each with UP or DOWN.
- Press MODE one last time to exit setting mode, or wait 15 seconds for it to exit automatically.
6.2. Setting Alarm
- From the normal time display, press the MODE button repeatedly until the alarm time is displayed (usually indicated by an alarm icon).
- Press and hold the MODE button for 3 seconds. The alarm hour will flash.
- Use UP or DOWN to set the desired alarm hour.
- Press MODE to confirm and move to the alarm minute setting. Adjust with UP or DOWN.
- Press MODE to exit alarm setting.
- To activate/deactivate the alarm, press the UP button while the alarm time is displayed. An alarm icon will appear/disappear.
6.3. Changing Temperature Units (°C/°F)
From the normal display, briefly press the DOWN button to toggle between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) temperature units.
6.4. Backlight Control
Press the LIGHT button to adjust the brightness of the display backlight. Multiple brightness levels are available, including off.
6.5. Viewing MAX/MIN Records
Press the MAX/MIN button to view the maximum recorded temperature and humidity. Press again to view the minimum records. Press a third time to return to the current readings. The records reset automatically every 24 hours or can be manually reset by holding the MAX/MIN button.
